Simple and Fair
We only charge for credits that are successfully used. If you have unused credits and no longer need them, we'll refund them — no questions asked.
What We Refund
We will refund unused credits only. A credit is considered used when a compression operation completes successfully and the compressed file is returned to you.
- Unused credits — fully refundable at the original purchase price.
- Partially used credit packs — the unused portion is refundable.
What We Do Not Refund
- Used credits — credits that have been consumed by successful compression operations cannot be refunded, as the compute cost has already been incurred.
- Failed compressions — if a compression fails for any reason, no credit is deducted. You will not be charged for failed operations.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for unused credits:
- Contact us via the Contact page or email billing@smallest.zip.
- Include your account email address.
- We will verify your unused credit balance and process the refund within 5 business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
